The Department of Photonics at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) invites applications from outstanding candidates with relevant expertise and strong research potential for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

職 稱：專任助理教授以上1名
Position: One full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above
起聘日期：預計116年8月1日或117年2月1日
Expected Starting Date: August 1, 2027, or February 1, 2028
二、應聘資格及專長 Qualifications and Areas of Expertise
申請人應符合以下資格：
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
1. 具備與光電、物理、電子電機、材料或其他理工相關領域之博士學位。
Hold a Ph.D. degree in Photonics, Physics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, or other closely related fields in science and engineering.
2. 具備國際交流與國際合作相關經驗。
Have experience in international academic exchange and/or international collaboration.
3. 具備以英文授課之能力。
Demonstrate the ability to teach courses in English.
4. 具矽光子、量子科技或半導體等領域研究專長者尤佳。
Candidates with research expertise in silicon photonics, quantum technology, semiconductor technology, or related fields are particularly encouraged to apply.

Additional Supporting Documents and Evidence, including:
- 最高學歷證明影本。
A copy of the highest degree diploma or certificate
- 國外學歷證明者，須依相關規定完成我國駐外館處驗證。
For degrees earned outside Taiwan, the degree and related academic credentials must meet the applicable degree authentication and/or verification requirements under Taiwan’s regulations
- 歷年成績單影本。
Copies of academic transcripts
- 其他相關學經歷、研究成果或專業證明文件。
Documentation of relevant academic and professional experience, research achievements, or professional qualifications
- 個人有利於審查之相關文件。
Any other materials that may be beneficial to the evaluation of the application

五、注意事項 Notes and Important Information
- 本系將依相關規定辦理資格審查及後續遴聘作業。通過資格審查者，將另行通知後續甄選事宜。
The Department will conduct the qualification review and subsequent recruitment process in accordance with the relevant regulations. Applicants who pass the qualification review will be notified separately regarding the subsequent selection process.
- 如通過資格審查者為本國籍人士，需於面試當天於現場填寫「擬任（現職）人員未在中國大陸設有戶籍、領用中國大陸護照、身分證、定居證或居住證具結書」。
If applicants who pass the qualification review are Taiwanese nationals, they will be required to complete and sign, in person on the day of the interview, the Declaration Regarding Household Registration, Passport, Identity Card, Permanent Residence Permit, or Residence Permit in Mainland China for Prospective Appointees (Including Current Employees).
